Dr. Zhenyuan Yuan is a Research Associate in the Division of Data and Analytics at VTTI. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State, where his research focused on creating algorithms for trustworthy autonomous systems. His expertise is in trustworthy machine learning with an emphasis on safety, security, and privacy, as well as robotics, multi-agent interactions, and decision-making under uncertainty. He has been published in prestigious journals and conferences in control, machine learning and robotics, including IEEE Transaction of Automatic Control, Automatica, Advances in Neural Information Processing Systems, and IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems. He also serves as a reviewer for several leading journals and conferences in this field, including IEEE Transaction of Automatic Control, Automatica, IEEE Open Journal of Control Systems, IEEE Transactions on Robotics, International Journal of Social Robotics, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, IEEE International Conference on Decision and Control, and American Control Conference.
