Vicki Williams received B. S. and M.S. degrees from the College of Engineering (Industrial Engineering and Operations Research) at Virginia Tech, and is a Certified Professional Ergonomist. Vicki has been employed as a human factors engineer and consultant for various industrial corporations. Since 2001 she has worked for VTTI as a Senior Research Associate and Human Factors Engineer. Duties have included all phases of research, including literature review, protocol development, study design, data collection (in-vehicle and remote), data reduction, statistical analysis, and report writing. Vicki has been involved in a variety of projects (proprietary and non-proprietary) and workgroups within VTTI. Her research interests include all human factors aspects of transportation research, particularly light vehicle and motorcycle studies (both naturalistic and controlled experimental) and data analysis.
